Does playing the old gameboy hurt your eyes? - gameboy eye surgery online

because my parents think that the old gameboy "Hurt my eyes, but I think the gameboy uses the same light that we see every day (I mean his eyes next to the TV and it hurts, but when I started with Game Boy, has not violated). I'm not an ophthalmologist, but I played gameboy old, maybe 10 years and I still have 20/20 Vision Eye. Not even think it is brilliant to burn to the retina or LOL
