Will a felony drug charge from 2001 prevent me from enrolling in college? - loan administrator thank you letter after interview

I am 30 years ... I have a crime costs for drugs in 2001 (possession of MDMA). I was motivated negotiated and received 7 years probation and a hefty fine. I paid the fine and was on unsupervised probation for a few years. I declare the Law of Georgia on his first offense, and presumably the burden of proof should be annulled or sealed during my internship takes place in June '09. I have no problems since and have many years of reading and studying a wide range of topics ... be self-taught, if you want. I believe that studying the request to the State of Georgia in the fall semester of Applied Physics ... I never went to school (with the exception of high technology. What we really need to know before it's my record, whether it will affect my ability to sign up. It was long ago and it looks like another life ... I'm so far from me then it's a shame to believe that pursuing a bad choice for almost 8 years old me and keeps me improve my life, as we see best.
